Whether the reservation system is working-a new dimension?!

What have we achieved so far? Does the hardworking government machinery really reaping the benefits for the targeted sections? My country is with inequal access to resources for the people and that’s why my adorable government is trying to bring positive discrimination a.k.a affirmative action targeting deprived communities.

Nature of reservation system

                This paragraph is going to explain why the basic rights been denied toSC/ST communities by the system called ‘reservation’. Its per se is to channel the deserved meritorious candidates into government institutions say educational, employment oriented for their future prospects. The same system renders them opportunities only in governmental platforms. Not in private sectors. The result? Private sphere piled up with ‘early reapers’ (u know what i mean). Is not it a denial of rights for the deprived?

The path ahead-institutional infrastructure

Instead of making the deprived a slave to reservation (thats what happening) entitle/enable them to enrich their skills, be it academic, extracurricular etc. This way they tune themselves to be independent. If you are reading this carefully, then you are getting the bigger picture here. They can even compete in the private sector. Become an NRI. A lot of stuff can be possible.

So it’s time we do that instead of filing a petition in a court to exclude wealthy from creamy layer.

Chennai Floods

We the non Chennaiites experienced the same kinda inundations during the past times.But why the hell those "disasters" were "never disasters" at all. Why there was no media attention and near zero miseries at all in the south Tamil Nadu.

               If u think of one reason, i will tell you many.

           Soil-Even the 2015 floods made it clear just like storm drains, exposure of soil to the rain is mandatory for normal life during monsoon periods. As one can easily observe certain areas like Anna Nagar never felt much of the "heat" from the floods though debilitated of the normal life. Along with parks and substantial green cover without second thought caused the near normal life of the privileged citizens during floods.
            Run offs-In my village whatever rain touching the ground find its destination and never ever those droplets seeks revenge of our citizens. Mainly because of the adequately spaced housing and green cover rains always bless us.

I can still feel the smell of the rainy air while writing this. One thing should not go unmentioned,which is the next heading Planning.
            Rural/Urban Planning- though the Urban feels the big brother in this issue, when you take comprehensively rural areas atleast have even grounds so the water may seek the graveyard without sheltering our homes. Imagine your at max possibility of devastating floods in villages. Well the intensity will be quite unexpected.Slums are the exceptions. This heading goes more lengthy,because i need a safety valve to express my yellings. Can't just stop thinking about the issue "CONCENTRATED DEVELOPMENT". Our hounourable then President Dr.Abdul told about PURA schemes. But the governments are not listening as their unintended aim is "CONCENTRATED DEVELOPMENT". So slums are the Preemie babies of "CONCENTRATED DEVELOPMENT". And the asylum they get is low lying,unhygienic pockers of Urban areas.



Nature resides in villages. Give some to Town areas. Don't blame the so called "Floods". Flood can never be a "Flood" if we give way to nature in so called developed parts of the country. Sustainable Development needs a in depth approach.
                                                       "plan it,do it"
